A message from our divisional leaders

As President of the Central Division for Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management, I am responsible for leading all aspects of business in the 25 states that make up the Central Division.  This includes leading across the multiple channels with which we partner to create an environment where clients come first and the professionals who serve our clients, including Financial Advisors, Wealth Advisors and Client Associates, are able to serve every need a client has at every stage of their lives. We strive to offer the greatest opportunity for advisors, allowing them to choose the platform that best suits their needs, as well as to create an environment in which every member of the team can thrive. 

I began my career in financial services in 1989 and have worked in various areas of the business, including client service, fixed income, marketing, strategy, sales management, and branch and regional leadership. Prior to this, my most recent role was serving as Head of National Sales where I led the areas of the firm dedicated to growing the business. In addition to my primary responsibilities, I am committed to championing efforts that promote diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the business, within WFA and beyond. I earned Wells Fargo Advisors “Corporate Champion for Diversity and Inclusion Award” by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2018 as well – thanks in large part to the Diverse Client Segments team that I founded in 2017. I currently co-chair the company’s Women’s initiatives and spearheaded the Inclusive Leadership Center at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2019.

I received a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago and am a graduate of the Securities Industry Association (SIA) Institute at Wharton.  I am married to my college sweetheart, Robert and we have three children: Connor, Grace and Rachel. My favorite activities include traveling and cooking with my family.

Greg Shiveley is the Divisional Business Manager for the Central Division. A financial services veteran with over 23 years of experience in leadership roles, Greg joined a Wells Fargo Advisors predecessor firm in 2000. Prior to that he served on the Central MO/ Iowa Regional Team of Bank of America for four years.

During his tenure at Wells Fargo Advisors, Greg has demonstrated a strong track record of growing FA productivity, recruiting and building high performing teams, as well as being recognized, by the field, as a leader on the firm’s technology platform.   He is passionate about client experience and is highly successful in leveraging the resources of the full enterprise to serve and advise all clients. 

Greg earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia in Finance and Political Science.  He holds securities registrations 3, 7, 9, 10, 24, 66, and his Life and Health Insurance Licenses.

Greg enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling as much as possible, rooting for his Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Cardinals and Blues.  He also enjoys losing multiple golf balls every time he plays golf with friends.  He lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Leslie.

Jessica Kelly, Divisional Sales Manager, leading the Market Sales Managers in the Central Division is responsible for helping our clients satisfy their full balance sheet needs by working with their financial advisor to access the full breadth of producsts and services available through Wells Fargo Advisors and their affiliates. Her team’s primary focus is around access to full balance sheet capabilities (lending and banking), investment solutions, planning tools and practice management.

Jessica joined Wells Fargo in 2001 and has worked in various roles including as a Home Mortgage Consultant, Market Development Consultant focused on the national expansion of the mortgage partnership within WFA, Regional Lending Director, National Business Development Leader for Banking, Lending & Trust and most recently moved into the Sales Director role. She has 6 years of experience leading in market teams focused on growth. She is responsible for 23 Market Sales Managers and 1 Diverse Segments Coach.  

Jessica is a life long Minnesotan who resides with her husband and their 3 dogs Madison, Bennett and Riddick. Her daughter Chloe recently graduated from UND in North Dakota and she loves visiting her. She enjoys cooking, being with her extended family and antinquing.

Jessica holds her series 7, 24 and 63 registrations, is a Registered Corporate Coach and a Loan Originator.

Jason McLaughlin leads the recruiting efforts of the Central Division of Wells Fargo Advisors, connecting successful Financial Advisors to the firm. Having served as a wealth management professional since 1995, he has an in-depth knowledge of the traditional retail brokerage business, the firm’s bank-based Wealth Brokerage Service channel and the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (WFAFN) independent channel, introducing Financial Advisors to freedom of choice for the structure of their practices.

Jason’s more than 20 years at the firm includes extensive experience leading teams in a traditional Financial Advisor role, as a leader in the WFAFN business channel, and as a Market Leader in the Chicago area. He was with the WFAFN independent channel for eight years, where he oversaw the growth of the Great Lakes Region, managing relationships with the firm’s WFAFN Financial Advisors within the six-state region. Jason assisted more than 80 Advisors in setting up their own businesses with the independent channel.

More recently, as the Market Leader for the Wells Fargo Advisors Chicago North Shore Market, Jason led a diverse team of more than 300 financial professionals located at the 12 branches of the Market. He brings high energy and enthusiasm to his work with Financial Advisors and team members.

A graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He lives in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife, Debbie, and their two children.

Dave Saunders is the Divisional Governance Leader supporting the Central Division. He is the primary governance partner for the division and is responsible for risk management, including supervisory risk and human capital risk. Dave leads a team of governance professionals who partner with management teams and Supervision to ensure that risks are appropriately addressed, promoting an effective control environment in the markets and branches within the division.

Dave is a motivated and driven financial services professional with over 42 years of experience with the firm. He has a solutions driven approach to business while delivering an unwavering commitment to excellence, professionalism and common sense in order to exceed desired goals, objectives and results. Dave holds securities registrations 7, 63 and 8.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and traveling. Dave lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Joyce.
