Mike Vinyon joined Wells Fargo & Company in 1998, and recently relocated from Minnesota to serve as the High Net Worth Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, he oversees the delivery of thoughtful investment planning, tailored wealth solutions, and a differentiated experience for clients with relationships of $10 million or more at Wells Fargo & Co.
Prior to moving to Scottsdale, Mike was the regional managing director for Wells Fargo Private Bank in the Twin Cities region. He has also served as senior regional fiduciary manger, overseeing trust services in the Twin Cities and was the national director of Wells Fargo Philanthropic Services, a group of specialists at Wells Fargo Bank addressing the specialized needs of philanthropic individuals and the non-profit community.
Mike has a passion for serving the community and was active in the Twin Cites non-profit community, serving on the board of directors of Goodwill EasterSeals of Minnesota and The Hill Farm Historical Society. He served as chair, conference chair, and board member of the Minnesota Planned Giving Council, and was treasurer of the Minnesota Charities Review Council. He was a past delegate for National Committee on Planned Giving, a past member of The Cornerstone Council and The St. Paul Foundation, and served on the leadership council of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Trust and Probate Section. He has chaired the National Advisory Board for Certified Trust and Financial Advisors, American Bankers Association, and currently sits on its National Wealth and Trust Conference Board.
Mike earned his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College and his juris doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School (not currently practicing).He currently holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor professional designation.
