Scott Hansen is a managing director located in the Pacific South division of Wells Fargo Advisors with more than 30 years of experience in financial services. Scott is responsible for leading the Woodland Hills and Encino offices for Wells Fargo Advisors as well as the High Net Worth Private Wealth Advisor team for the Valley Market.
Growing up in a very modest, rural community, Scott unfortunately watched many of his neighbors put themselves through financial distress stemming from a lack of education, planning, and access to quality advice. As a result, Scott is passionate about connecting good people with great resources and advice to help them realize their financial, family, and legacy dreams, hopefully helping make their community a better place to live, too.
Prior to entering the industry, Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he also earned his Professional Financial Planning Certificate.
As an active member of his community, Scott proudly serves on the boards for the Ventura County Community Foundation, the Women’s Economic Ventures, and on an advisory board at California State University Channel Islands.
Scott has lived in Ventura for over 20 years with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children. In his free time, Scott enjoys playing golf, traveling, reading, and helping the local little league as a baseball umpire.
